My cousin Camryn was diagnosed with a very rare form of children’s cancer in her kindeys, lungs, and liver. She is currently doing great in the hospital but we still need your support! I’m getting extremely excited & eager to start these new music projects I have lined up for this summer. I just finished up putting together a pretty sick studio in my home (pictures to come later this week) Teaming up with a sick new artist Will Inspire (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ktvs7DBCOG0), mixing/mastering some of his tracks on his up coming tape due out around the end of May.

In marathon* news, I just picked up a drummer, Isiah Jacobs, & we’re going to start recording the new album next week (One of my best friends Tyler Salley is also trying to contribute & lay down some saxophone tracks but we’ll see if his car can make the trip from Chicago to Rockford for a couple of sessions) Couldn’t be more proud and confident in the marathon* project right now. I’m getting a lot of great feedback from a lot of different people in a lot of different cities which is awesome news to hear! I have an exciting new sound for this album that ears are going to really really get into. Don’t worry, nothing crazy, still keeping the contemporary folk roots, but you have to elevate/progress your sound as you move along with a project. This album has me way too happy about the future.
